What is covered?

All devices are tested thoroughly by professionals for internal and external defects prior to the sale, in order to provide the best service to customers.

  1. Internal defects such as:
  • Battery capacity does not meet the devices specifications.
  • Dead pixels or discoloration on the screen.
  • Wi-Fi does not turn on.
  • Cellphone does not read SIM cards.
  • Front and/or Back cameras are not clear or do not turn on.
  • Flashlight does not work.
  • Cellphone does not vibrate.
  • Low or no sound.
  • Low or no sound.
  • Cellphone does not detect nearby coverage.
  • Power, home, volume and/or silent buttons do not function well or at all.
  • Does not work well or at all.
  • TouchID feature does not read fingerprints well or at all, if applicable.
  • Cellphone does not charge properly.
  • Device does not recognize earphones.
  • Global Positioning System does not work properly.
  1. Phone goes on the national (Canadian) Blacklist.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED?

The warranty does not cover any physical damage, deterioration or malfunction caused by modification, improper use, accident, exposure to excess moisture or fire.

HOW LONG DOES THIS WARRANTY LAST?

The warranty covering internal defects stated in heading “What is covered?” above, lasts for 30 days from the date of the original purchase of this product.

However, the warranty covering phones ending up in the national blacklist (Canadian) lasts a lifetime.

WHO IS COVERED?

Only the first buyer of this product is covered under this limited warranty. This warranty is not transferable to other buyers or owners of this product.

WHAT PHONE HOOK-UPS WILL DO?

Under the terms and conditions of this limited warranty, Phone Hook-ups will reserve the freedom of choosing one of the following three remedies to satisfy a proper claim:

  1. Repair of internal defects free of any charge.
  2. Replacement of the defective device with another device of the same specifications.
  3. Refund of the original purchase price of the product and deduct from it any depreciation resulted from the original buyer’s use.

HOW TO OBTAIN A REMEDY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY?

To obtain a remedy under this limited warranty, the original buyer must contact Phone Hook-Ups by e-mail (info@www.phone-hookups.ca).

In order to obtain the remedy, the buyer must show the invoice they have received by email upon purchase.

If it is decided that the product must be repaired, Phone Hook-Ups will send a package to the buyer’s mailing address for them to place their phone in, and ship it back free of charge. The phone will be inspected by Phone Hook-Ups’ technicians and if the warranty covers the issue, it will then be repaired and sent back to the buyer. However, if the product does not have any issues and fits the original description, but the buyer still wishes to return it, then shipping costs will not be covered by Phone Hook-Ups.

If it is decided that the product must be replaced, or returned for a refund, the original buyer must contact Phone Hook-Ups by the e-mail mentioned above. Phone Hook-Ups will send a package to the buyer’s mailing address for them to place their phone in, and ship it back free of charge. The phone will be inspected by Phone Hook-Ups’ technicians and if the warranty covers the issue, the buyer will receive another phone of the same model, specifications and condition, to their mailing address, or will be fully refunded.

However, if the product does not have any issues and fits the original description, but the buyer still wishes to return it, then shipping costs will not be covered by Phone Hook-Ups.
